We are an association of Americans who believe it is in the U.S. national interests to foster friendship with Russia on the basis of mutual Good Will and non-interference in each other's affairs.

RAGA is a gathering of people who share common interests in Russia's history, culture, religion, economy, politics and the way of life. We feel that Russian people have made outstanding contributions to humankind and are capable of greater achievements. We envision Russia as a strong, independent, proud and free nation and as a partner in achieving peace in the world.

What is RAGA?

Russian American Goodwill Association is a private organization created in 1992 to help the development of trade, commerce and cultural exchange between Russia and the United States on the basis of mutual interests and goodwill toward each other.

What Are RAGA's Goals?

• To overcome "business culture" barriers that hinder Russian-American relations.
• To help the Russians create an ethically and ecologically sound free-market economy
• To foster friendship and partnership between Russia and the U.S. into the 21^st century

W. George Krasnow, President

W. George Krasnow is the founder and president of RAGA. He is a recognized scholar, experienced teacher, certified translator/interpreter and has extensive experience in academic and business circles in the US and the N.I.S. George is a native Russian, born in Perm, and a naturalized US citizen.

Vyacheslav Dimov, Site Manager

Vyacheslav Dimov is the site manager for the RAGA website. He is the director of the media center of Sergei Diaghilev
Gymnasium (High School), located in Perm, Russia.
